I had a great year, and
the Fat Tire Ales after a hard effort were certainly appreciated.
The season highlight for me was winning the Master Worlds, a goal
that I have chased for years, but was unable to participate in regularly
due to my Eupopean cycling trips. I intend on returning next year
to the race to defend my jersey and then immediately jumping on the
start line for the Trans-Rockies race. My whole season will be focused
around having a great ride for those 2 events ! The folks at Greggs
have been very nice and the sponsors have been wonderful with some
awesome products and promos. On a hot day nothing beats turning a
bottle on end and seeing a mountain bike staring back at you !

The Gregg's/Fat Tire
Race Team has many goals for the 2006 Racing season. They can all be summed
up with the above statement. They break down like this:
Have Fun
• Race and
train within a team framework that includes mutual support and respect for
the sport.
• Participate
in local, regional and national racing events.
• Full participation
of all members of the team.
Win
• Place at
least one rider on the podium in every race in which we participate.
• Top 10 finishes in any
national race in which we participate.
• Be seen
as a positive and formidable team in the local and regional race scene.
